Hello, my name is Chu

I am many things, and have many titles. Some people call me an UI Designer, UX Designer, Visual Designer and sometimes Product Designer. I think most importantly, you should know that I am an Analog Designer working in a Digital World.

 

I have over 10 years of experience making ideas tangible. I've been fortunate to have been a part of successful products and interact with brilliant people everyday. Many people like to say that they "Think out of the Box"; I would go further and say "I help define the NEW Box!"

 

So what do I bring to the table?
I provide user empathy, I am the "soft touch points" that the user interacts with. This is the glue between the engineering and interface. My job is to listen, to both product requirements and user needs; and balance and negotiate features with usability. So, I do more than draw pretty pictures; I make pretty have purpose.

 

What inspires me?
I constantly look to improve or evolve my projects and myself. I love design and art as well as do my best to understand things that are technical. I collect visual inspiration with my iPhone as well as being a huge consumer of information.
